There really *are* teachers in
schools who understand kids who learn differently, and
teach accordingly. They may not have found someone to
make a web page for the school, though, so this is *not*
a comprehensive list. I know of several myself that don't
have websites-- there are several good books which serve
this function. Peterson's Guides have online lists as
well, including lists of secondary
special needs schools.You can also look on sites about
your town. Richmond, VA is one with a descriptive listing
of independent
schools. Your local branch of the International Dyslexia
Association may also be able to refer you to good educational
options. .
