LUM

LUM and LUC mean LIGHT
In J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, "Lumos!"is

is also used to describe the ability to see things in one's
mind. A person with a light bulb turning on above his head
is thinking of a good idea or putting ideas together; if you
"see the light," you finally understand something

this mental "light."
