Biohazard



Infectious agents that can be harmful to the health of humans or other animals, either directly or by damaging the environment.


 

Example One:

 

Anthrax is a biohazard that has been in the news.  

Paraphrase:

Anthrax is something that can make people sick that has been in the news.

 

 

Example Two:

 
  Trash from medical tests  that has blood on it needs to be put in a waste can marked biohazard.  Trash from medical tests  that has blood on it needs to be put in a waste can marked so people know it could carry diseases.
