G 507     I want to walk as a child of the LIght

I want to walk as a child of the Light

I want to follow Jesus.

God sent the stars to give light to the world.

The star of my life is Jesus.

In him there is no darkness at all. The night and the day are both alike.

The Lamb is the light of the city of God.

Shine in my heart, Lord Jesus.

I want to see the brightness of Christ.

I want to look at Jesus.

Clear sun of righteousness shine on my path

And show me the way to the Father.

I’m looking for the coming of Christ.

I want to be with Jesus.

When we have run with patience the race,

We shall know the joy of Jesus.

Psalm:  Teach me Your Ways O Lord – Gather 35, second refrain

Presentation:   Lord, when you came/Pescador de Hombres.

Lord, when you came to the seashore,

You weren’t seeking the wise or the wealthy, but only asking that I might follow.

Senor, me_has mirado_a los ojos

Sonriendo, has dicho mi nombre

En la_arena, he dehado mi barca

Junto a ti, buscareĢ otro mar.

Lord, you knew what my boat carried

Neither money nor weapons for fighting

But nets for fishing, my daily labor.

Lord, have you need of my labor?

Hand for service, a heart made for loving.

My arms for lifting the poor and broken.

Lord, send me where you would have me

To a village, or heart of the city

I will remember that you are with me.

COMMUNION:   733 we are many parts

We are many parts, we are all one body

And the gifts we have, we are given to share.

May the Spirit of love make us one indeed.

One the love that we share

One our hope in despair

On the cross that we bear.

God of all, we look to you.

We would be your servants true.

Let us be your love to all the world.

So my pain is pain for you

In your joy is my joy too.

All is brought together in the Lord.

All you seekers, great and small,

Seek the greatest gift of all;

If you love, then you will know the Lord.
