When a student is using a calculator to figure out what 100 + 6 is, it's a pretty sure thing she's not using number sense. WHen she needs a calculator to figure out what x is in this situation:

6 / 100 = x / 100

... I do rather extremely strongly suspect a little too much dependence on that thing with the buttons.

Just sayin'.
