SMILE - no, I'm not going to.
Dang. Larry Ferlazzo posted the CLEAR and SMILE sites as the "best" for creating online interactive quizzes.
Welp, they don't work. Not on Firefox, Not on Exploder, Not in Windows, Not in Mac. If there's a combination that would work, then it would help to post that, but since I get to "create" the quizzes... oh, and edit them too - as in, change the name, but NOT um, add any actual content ... welp, I think that's all there is.
So, it's waiting to get back to work to fiddle with Camtasia. I've been told - and I have it in writing - tha tpodcasts would be a good idea. So, in an effort to get the competence out there and to combat those elements that make it hard for folks to come to the lab to do math (some expected, some unexpected), I'm going to try to get motivated to be disgustingly productive in the next week or two. If this trip's expenditures don't spin out of order I'll splurge for software myself, since frankly I need to develop my resources to function independently of the job, too.
