checked thsoe referrals and it seems Sinclair Community College in ohio has an academic resource center specifically aimed at students *before* they enroll so that they can do better on the placement test.
Perhaps this is waht could be added to the "acceptance" letter;
The next thing you have to do is go get assessed. This is an important step that determines whether or not you will be able to take college level courses. If you would like to prepare for this stop by CAS for resources and you can use the stuff there too.
