Where I post assorted thoughts and links relating to learning, specifically learning difficulties, learning disabilities, dyslexia, dysgraphia, "dyscalculia" and all the other reasons people struggle with numbers and math and arithmetic, reading, Orton-Gillingham stuff and ... whatever!

Let me just say this about that.

It completely stinks that this studnet is on financial aid and therefore has to take 12 hours.

The math class is too fast (it's a 5 hour class). She should substitute the 2-hour one, which she will spend as much time working on as she would the 5-hour clss. Then she will need to find 3 credit hours... of what? Fluff?

I understand that last year, at least one athlete was allowed a reduced course load as an accommodation for a learning disability. It should be just a teensy, tinesy bit easier for this student to get it.
