Hmmm.... hasn't been *that* long since I posted ;)

My basement had a little flood yesterday (and today?). Odd because it's not raining and it was dry in the morning. Figure the sump pump had an issue or something.

Some boxes with papers got watered; probably old assorted resource room exercises that might as well be tossed, though I *have* tossed and regretted, when it comes to "the perfect exercise to practice...."

I realized, though, that most of those papers were from the Pre-Digital Teaching Era. Fact is, I can create reasonably fantabulous resources (okay! okay! some of them are "worksheets!") reasonably quickly. Preserving just isn't as important.

Here's hoping the mold spores don't invade everything... oooh, this could be a golden opportunity for me to get my buddy to disclose how to use that basement heater that he maintains is such a carbon monoxide hazard that it should never be turned on... except IMHO a one-time "heat-and-dry the basement" blast would be in order to get the dampness OUT before the summer comes.
