Where I post assorted thoughts and links relating to learning, specifically learning difficulties, learning disabilities, dyslexia, dysgraphia, "dyscalculia" and all the other reasons people struggle with numbers and math and arithmetic, reading, Orton-Gillingham stuff and ... whatever!

Example of visual learner vs. verbal learner and inequality:

3 < x

Yours truly needs to say "if three is less than x, then x must be more than three" and plot accordingly.

Hers truly, however, can "see" three being on the less side of x and just draw that bad boy.

Point being that had I tossed extra verbiage with an explanation, it would have made something "simple" to her more confusing... but if it were another student, that would be necessary.
