Where I post assorted thoughts and links relating to learning, specifically learning difficulties, learning disabilities, dyslexia, dysgraphia, "dyscalculia" and all the other reasons people struggle with numbers and math and arithmetic, reading, Orton-Gillingham stuff and ... whatever!

reading comprehension lessons

Just doin' a google on "reading comprehension lessons."

http://www.rhlschool.com/reading.htm has sample "paragraphs with the questions after them." Gave me flashbacks to typing class because the first had such a "values lesson" - so I checked another to see if that were the pattern and it's a 'leadership' poem describing a good leader's qualities, with a note at the top to "please read this before using." Seems President George W. Bush is spelled down the left side... but the author no longer considers him to be an example of a good leader. It would be nice if this were true because the author were thinking for him/herself, but my more cynical side says it's more tidal than that...

Oh, and of course http://www.resourceroom.net/

more to come...
