Where I post assorted thoughts and links relating to learning, specifically learning difficulties, learning disabilities, dyslexia, dysgraphia, "dyscalculia" and all the other reasons people struggle with numbers and math and arithmetic, reading, Orton-Gillingham stuff and ... whatever!

Welp, no, I haven't gotten a to do list yet - I'vebeen too busy :-)

This is the same problem many students have with assistive technology such as voice recognition, or our math software. If you're having trouble keeping up with a course, you aren't going to have time to keep up with the course and *learn* that voice rec... even if in the long run it could enable you to keep up with the course.

Integration is critical.

Wonder how many times this happens: student gets good grades in HS, but doesn't quite make the E 101 cut... and that essay to get in is full of spelling errors. (Grammar, too?) LD or dyspedagogia? (And how frequent is it? Cna we compare grades to COMPASS performance?)
